OUR STORY
We believe that everyone should have enough to eat.
WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE
Cal Bombay Ministries Inc. is a Charitable Organization founded in 2003. The purpose of this ministry is to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of people everywhere. We focus especially on those living in South Sudan and Uganda.
Over the years, we’ve adapted to the needs of the communities we work with.
In South Sudan, we helped small farmers increase their acreage to become self-sufficient and profit-making business persons.
We worked alongside Savannah Farmers Cooperative to create large farms and food-related industries to produce food for Kajo Keji County in South Sudan.
We trained South Sudanese residents in modern farming methods.
Good Friends Church was founded to focus on the spiritual needs of the community.
In Uganda, we trained low-income families in small plot gardening techniques in the Urban Farming Project. Cal Bombay Ministries is registered as a Non-Governmental Organization in Uganda.
As their country fell into chaos and violence, millions of South Sudanese fled their homes. Many crossed into Uganda for safety. Cal Bombay Ministries followed the refugees into Uganda.
Since 2017, we have been helping refugees plant gardens in the refugee settlements through the Gardens of Hope project.
Good Friends Church has been re-established in the refugee settlement.
The Urban Farming Project continues in low-income areas of Uganda’s capital city.
The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay him for his good deed.
